Areanne G. Matencio
Junior Partner
Atty. Matencio is a Junior Partner for the Firm. In 2013, she obtained her degree in Bachelor of Science in Legal Management from De la Salle Lipa and graduated as Magna cum Laude. Thereafter, she took up law in the same institution and eventually obtained her Juris Doctor degree in 2017, with an award as Class Salutatorian. For the whole duration of her law studies, she taught general education courses and major courses in the Legal Management Department at the same institution. She also worked as an intern in the Office of Associate Justice Arturo D. Brion in 2016. She has been a part of the De la Salle Lipa academe from 2013 until 2024.
After admission to the bar in 2018, Atty. Matencio has been engaged with litigation in labor law, civil law, criminal law, corporate law, and intellectual property law, and with special areas of law practice such as product registrations and enforcement, collective bargaining agreements, closure of business, employment termination, construction, competition law enforcement, acquisitions, intellectual property search, registration, and enforcement, and condominium corporations, and homeowners associations. Throughout the years, she has been specializing in her corporate practice through assisting various corporations in practicing good corporate governance, incorporation and business registrations, housekeeping and compliance, corporate acquisitions, restructuring, reconstructions, and transfers. She also acquired experience in arbitration.
Aside from corporate practice, Atty. Matencio has also been expanding her practice in real estate transactions, litigation, due diligence, and family wealth planning. Staying true to her academe background, Atty. Matencio has also conducted lectures for local and multinational clients for the institution of collection cases and application of labor laws.
